Does Depop still take a selling fee?
Not for US sellers -- Depop removed its 10% selling fee on listings created after July 15, 2024. The only fee left for a standard sale is payment processing, at 3.3% + $0.45. What does the payment processing fee apply to?
It's charged on the full amount the buyer pays -- item price plus shipping plus any applicable tax -- not just the item price alone, so raising your shipping charge doesn't reduce the percentage-based cost.
What's Boost, and is it included in this calculator?
Boosted Listings is Depop's optional paid promotion feature, adding roughly 12% when a boosted item actually sells. It's opt-in per listing, not a default cost of selling, so it's deliberately left out of this calculator's default math -- add it manually if you're using Boost on a listing.
